What we do for young people

Auray Plast is committed to taking on interns throughout the year, especially in the maintenance, production, or engineering departments. The young people benefit from experienced mentors who are eager to show them their know-how, share their experiences with them, and entrust them with real tasks because we are convinced of the value of this type of intergenerational exchange. We receive around 20 young people per year.

We also welcome students as part of study projects to participate in working groups. These are often pairs who join our teams and actively contribute to achieving our objectives.

Furthermore, we have a student in an apprenticeship program for 2 years. We also regularly participate in various events, such as Industry Week, discovery visits with schools, and meetings with job seekers…

We want to maintain our connections with young people and introduce as many people as possible to the plastics and industry professions.

To do this, we want to maintain our ability to host interns or young people on study projects.

Presentation of our company

Located 15 minutes from the beaches and the Gulf of Morbihan, we develop specific thermoplastic seals as well as catalog parts that can withstand temperatures ranging from -30 to +130 degrees Celsius.

Now a specialist in sealing systems, we also develop technical parts through thermoplastic injection. Each year, 15 to 20 million parts come out of our Auray factory.

Our equipment consists of 24 injection molding machines (ranging from 30 to 350 tons), with 75% being electric and 90% equipped with gripping robots. We also have 10 post-injection rework machines, a material laboratory, a hydraulic test bench, and a CNC optical control center.

The use of robotic technology (which performs deposits, parts storage at the press, or post-injection rework) allows us to guarantee consistent quality in line with our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certifications.

Our teams, composed of around fifty people, are divided into an engineering department, personnel dedicated to Quality Safety Environment Energy and Ergonomics of workstations, production teams in 3 shifts, a maintenance department, and support functions (sales, finance, communication, IT, HR).
