We offer our customers personalized support from project design to industrialization. Auray Plast has expertise in the design of technical parts, particularly in TPU.

The position will enable you to work on both injection molding machines and finishing machines (cutting).

Job description

We are recruiting a 2*8 team leader with the following responsibilities:

Ensuring production

  • Ensure and control production workshop objectives (finishing and injection)
  • Apply and optimize schedules
  • Guarantee production quality
  • Ensure and participate in the smooth running of machines in the various workshops
  • Participate in and support your team during start-ups, shutdowns and restarts of one or more production units
  • Carry out production changeovers
  • Carry out first-level maintenance on installations, within the scope of authorizations
  • Report information to the Production Manager and the QSE Department

 

Improve process reliability

  • Analyze and resolve production hazards
    Implement problem-solving approaches
  • Participate in production tool modernization projects (adaptation to new products, ergonomics, etc.).
  • Plan adjustments needed to optimize production cycles (reorganizations, changes in working methods, etc.).
  • Raise team awareness and monitor the application of quality, safety, environmental and energy rules.

 

Managing a production team

  • Manage, lead and coordinate production staff (management meetings, information, target setting, organization of activities, 2*8 (or night shifts), technical assistance, discipline, safety)
  • Identify, promote and develop staff skills (mobility, expertise development, annual appraisal interviews, feedback, etc.).
  • Participate in defining the training plan for his/her team and in job interviews
  • Train and support new technicians
  • Ensure written and verbal instructions are passed on
  • Understand company strategy and implement it within the company, at team level
  • Act as an interface between your team and your N+1 or management; ensure cross-functional communication
  • Manage conflicts and find solutions

  • Wear and enforce appropriate PPE
  • Respect the traffic plan
  • Report dangerous situations using Safety
  • Alert Sheets
  • Respect waste sorting

Profile required

  • You have a degree in plasturgy, mechanical logic and at least 5 years’ experience in the field.
  • You also have successful management and problem-solving experience
  • You have a good sense of priorities and can adapt to unforeseen circumstances
  • You enjoy teamwork and are willing to make yourself available
  • You are proactive and rigorous

Position: 2*8 full-time permanent contract

The working hours are as follows:

Week A :

Monday: 8:30am – 2pm

Tuesday to Thursday: 6am – 2pm

Friday: 6am – 1:30pm

Week B:

Monday to Thursday: 2pm – 10pm

Friday: 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Remuneration: according to profile and experience
