Founded in 1974 by Jean Pépin de Fontaine de Bonnerive and Jacques Dechavanne under the name JADE, the company took its first steps by responding to demanding technical needs. It specialized in the design and manufacture of joints for propping jacks, mainly for use in mining environments. This initial expertise marked the beginning of an industrial and human adventure, guided by innovation and the search for tailor-made technical solutions.
Over the years, the company has undergone a number of milestones, notably through successive acquisitions that have enriched its know-how. The result is Auray Plast, a benchmark in the manufacture of custom thermoplastic (TPU/TPE) injection molded parts. With nearly five decades’ experience behind it, the company has been able to adapt to changing market conditions and customer expectations.
In recent years, Auray Plast has continued to diversify, applying its expertise to new sectors such as mussel farming, agriculture, boating and leisure. This local, multi-sector positioning testifies to the company’s ability to innovate and meet the specific needs of varied markets.
