Auray Plast is recruiting a design office

Specialized for more than 40 years in the production of polyurethane gaskets and technical parts in injected plastics, AURAY PLAST is an industrial site on a human scale, which provides a complete service in the study, design and production of plastic mechanical components.

In order to accompany us in our development, we are recruiting an Industrial Method Technician M/F, within the Design Office.

In the design office, you will ensure the technical follow-up of projects (diagrams, drawings, specifications, procedures and manufacturing processes…), develop and adapt new processes.

In the workshop, you will support the injection technician, for the adjustment of the machines and will ensure the good functioning of the automated production lines, in connection with the team.

You will be required to solve technical problems and participate in the improvement of production processes. You will ensure quality and deadlines, as well as compliance with health and safety standards.

During your mission, you will be required to :

  • Launch, coordinate and manage industrialization and product development projects,
  • Participate in new projects,
  • Assist in the costing of parts for new business,
  • Define manufacturing processes,
  • Participate in the design of the necessary tooling,
  • Program the robots,
  • Set up and adjust the finishing equipment (pad printing, US welding, etc.),
  • Carry out the tests of the means of production (moulds, presses, robots, peripherals),
  • Determine product, material and process adjustments,
  • Validate and launch prototypes or pre-series until they are manufactured,
  • Create and update technical files,
  • Guarantee the technical reliability and safety of equipment, processes and products,
  • Train new technicians.

Ideally with a BTS degree and at least 10 years of experience.

  • Operational, “man/woman” in the field
  • Master the SEPRO programming
  • Use 3D printing, prototyping, hand gripping, CAD tools
  • Be a teacher
  • Know how to write processes, test reports
  • Be at ease with computers (office tools, business software)
  • Be on the lookout in the field of eco-design and recycling design
  • Organize your work time efficiently to achieve your objectives
  • Be autonomous, reactive and adaptable
  • Be critical, take into account the opinions of others
  • Master the methodology of problem solving
  • Ability to work in a team, good interpersonal skills

Position : Full time, daytime, based in Auray.
