Research Engineer in Plastics and Production in alternation

Attached to the Design Office, you will integrate a team of 5 employees (Technicians, Engineers and Draftsman) and will intervene initially on missions of continuous improvement, aiming at reducing the costs and optimizing the processes, in the heart of the production (5 S, SMED, organization, installation of station…)

You will diagnose the origin of a malfunction and its consequences, develop with the team, a progress plan, coordinate its implementation and participate in the validation of technological choices compatible with industrial requirements and in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

You will learn to program robots and gripping hands on our presses.

You will participate in meetings to monitor projects in the process of industrialization.

You will discover the methodology of problem solving and will become an actor in the search for solutions in production. You will ensure that the project complies with technical specifications and standards. You will be able to suggest improvements to reduce time and costs, while ensuring that the specifications are respected.

In the second year, you will develop and implement a continuous improvement project.

In the third year, you will design a plastic part, managing projects with multidisciplinary teams. Your role will then be to provide technical support to the team and to participate in decision-making during the development, quotation and project work with customers, standardization and improvement of current processes.

Profile: You enjoy working in a team and in the field. You have mechanical knowledge, thanks to previous internships or seasonal jobs. You are creative in finding solutions and implementing them. A certain open-mindedness, a great capacity to adapt, rigor, pedagogy and flexibility are also personal qualities desired for this type of position.
